Dr. Hooman Rezaei is a distinguished leader in aircraft training, operations, and aerospace technology. With over 25 years of experience in the aviation and aerospace industry, he leads the comprehensive portfolio of services offered by HMK Capital LLC and HMK USA LLC. These services include the acquisition, leasing, operation, and management of both military and commercial aircraft and engines, as well as aircrew management and training. The company is headquartered in Newport Beach, California.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rezaei has provided both commercial and technical consulting services to military institutions, commercial airlines, aircraft leasing and financing firms, and maintenance providers worldwide. He has held key positions where he led aircraft and engine acquisition negotiations worth over $1 billion, directed advanced military R&D projects, and managed global sales of end-of-life solutions and aftermarket services at industry leaders such as Pratt & Whitney and GE Aviation.
Additionally, Dr. Rezaei has been actively involved in the restructuring of bankrupt airlines, conducting financial and operational due diligence, and structuring financing packages for aviation and aerospace entities. These engagements often included long-term commitments involving the supply of jet fuel and energy products in exchange for strategic investments.
